Hire Association Europe (HAE) was formed in 1974 and often referred to as The Association by its members. HAE is a Birmingham-based industry-leading trade body representing plant, tool and equipment hire with a membership base of 900 members based in the UK, Europe and across other parts of the world.
SafeHire is a BSI private standard created by and written for the hire industry with the help and guidance of British Standards Institute. It was originally written following a disastrous ‘Which’ report in 2010 that outlined everything negative about the industry. The association took a positive stance and determined that it needed to reverse the perception created by ‘Which’. Members fully supported this proactive action to mitigate the impact of the report but also to enhance confidence in the hire sector for the longer term.
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry.
Founded in 1974, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA), is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers. PASMA advances safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors and represents the interests of its members in the UK, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East.
